BIOGRAPHY
Arya Priyadarshini holds a Ph.D. in literary trauma studies from Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India. Her research interests include trauma and memory studies, popular culture, children’s and young adult literature. She is a recipient of the visiting fellow research grant under Newton-Bhabha PhD Placement Programme 2020-2021, jointly sponsored by British Council (UK) and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for academic research visit at the University of Northampton, UK. She has published her work in international, peer-reviewed journals as well as presented her research in various international and national forum. She is a member of various international societies such as International Research Society for Children’s Literature (IRSCL), Indian Association of Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies (IACLALS), The Society for the Study of the Multi-Ethnic Literatures of the World (MELOW) and Indian Network for Memory Studies (INMS), Centre for Memory Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
