Welcome to Centre Of Excellence On Renewable Energy Systems
NPIU has funded Rs. 5 Crore to establish this Centre of Excellence. The centre is hosted by Electrical Engineering Department. Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering are participating Departments. The center serves as a platform for collaborative research and knowledge sharing activities among the different research groups scattered over several major departments facilitating faster developments, nurturing new ideas and supporting each other in coercive manner. The Centre has been successful in securing research funds from several agencies such as CSIR, MHRD, CPRI, MNRE, DST, DST-UKIERI, NRB for conducting high end research projects. The Department is also active in collaborating research with Queen Mary University of London.
