Unit 1: Introduction to the Discipline- Introduction to the Management and Ethics, various disciplines of Indian Education System, importance of science dealing with management and ethics, Treatise dealing with the management and ethics, fields of management, practices dealing the ethics.

Understand Ancient Wisdom in Management and Ethics: To introduce students to the foundational concepts of management and ethics from ancient Indian treatises and how these principles are applied in various disciplines of the Indian education system. |

Explore Individual Governance Practices: To examine management and ethical practices at the individual level, including decision-making, conflict resolution, and the balance between attachment and detachment. |

Analyze Social Control Mechanisms: To investigate the concepts of rights and duties, moral preservation, leadership, and welfare in the context of ancient wisdom and their relevance to modern social and political governance. |
