Syllabus
Perform algebraic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Application of different coordinate transformation on images, Implementation of image transforms (Frequency domain Operations) including FFT, DCT and study their use for image processing. Image manipulation using histogram equalization and specification. Use of filters for image denoising and restoration. Implementation of different image segmentation algorithms. Color image processing, Implementation of Image compression algorithms.
Course Objectives
- To get hands on experience to process different synthetic and real time images.
Course Outcomes
The student will be able to process different kinds of image for various applications such as image correction, object detection other real time applications.
