Fuzzy sets, Support, Membership function, Alpha cut, Fuzzy union and intersection, Fuzzy numbers, Fuzzy addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, Fuzzy relation, Fuzzy graph, Fuzzy functions, Fuzzy differentiation and integration, Fuzzy topology, Fuzzy inference, Fuzzy control, Fuzzy system of equations, Fuzzy initial value problems.

Course Objectives

  • Understanding about uncertainty modeling
  • Fuzzy and interval uncertainty
  • Fuzzy uncertainty in algebraic equations
  • Fuzzy set theory applications in science and engineering problems

Course Outcomes

Understanding concept of fuzzy set theory and logic. Fuzzy based uncertainty in various mathematical models related to different application problems.
