Course Objectives

  • The course will provide knowledge on recent advancement in the area of non-coding RNAs and their roles in diseases, especially cancer.
  • The course will also cover basics of stem cells and their applications in regenerative therapy how to develop iPSCs using non-coding RNAs and other transcription factors.

Course Outcomes

After completion of the syllabus, students will be equipped to use the concept of RNAi and gene silencing as a useful tool for studying various biological problems, especially cancer and stem cells.
