1. Determination of PM2.5 and PM10
2. Determination of pH and Conductivity of Water
3. Determination of dissolved oxygen of water sample
4. Determination of fluoride concentration in water sample
5. Determination of chloride concentration in water sample
6. Determination of hexavalent chromium concentration in water sample
7. Determination of alkalinity of water sample.
8. Determination of acidity of water sample.
9. Determination of phosphate concentration in water sample
10. Determination of nitrate concentration in water sample
11. Determination Na, K and Ca by Flame Photometer
12. Determination of turbidity of water sample
13. Determination of optimum dose of coagulant for coagulation of water using jar test apparatus.

Course Objectives

  • To understand the impact and significance of various environmental quality parameters.
  • To provide practical training on modern instrumentation and analytical techniques for determination of environmental parameters.

Course Outcomes

CO1: The ability to monitor air pollutants and interpretation of results <br />CO2: The ability to monitor water and soil pollutants and interpretation of results <br />CO3: The ability to carry out any new experiment independently following the standard procedure <br />CO4:The ability to develop an experimental set up for monitoring of water quality parameters.
