Heath Risk Assessment and Epidemiological Studies Statistical and Economic Analysis of Accident Data Risk Minimization Techniques in Mines Generic approach to loss control within mining operations

Course Objectives

  • To identify hazards in opencast and underground mines
  • To understand the different qualitative and quantitative approaches to mine safety
  • To know accident statistics and analysis and investigations and reporting after mine disasters
  • case studies on safety risk assessment and management in mines

Course Outcomes

The students will be able to apply different risk assessment approaches for mining applications and assess and evaluate risk and adopt approaches for risk reduction and minimization
