Module 1 :

1) Study and Experiments with ultrasonic sensors to measure distances.(3 Hours)
2) Study and Experiments with infrared sensors for measuring distances. (3 Hours)
3) Experimental study of Gyro sensors in automation industry. (3 Hours)
4) Experimental study of accelerometer in mechatronic system. (3 Hours)
5) Use of image sensor to recognize object. (3 Hours)
6) Study of laser sensor for measuring distances. (3 Hours)
7) Experimental study of metal sensor. (3 Hours)
8) Experimental use of touch sensor for automation industry. (3 Hours)
9) Experimental study of magnetic sensor in automation industries. (3 Hours)
10) Use of GPS in robotics and industrial application. (3 Hours)
11) Experimental study of pressure sensor used in industrial application. (3 Hours)
12) Use of optical sensor in industrial automation. (3 Hours)

Course Objective

1) To impart basic knowledge and importance on ultrasonic sensors in mechatronics and robotics fields.
