Syllabus

Module 1 :

Module 1: Introduction to Intelligent Control (4 Hours)
Intelligent control, Hierarchical control architectures, Review of classical and modern control system.

Module 2: Study on Digital, Fuzzy, Neural and Genetic control Algorithms (12 Hours)
Digital control systems, Rule based systems, Study of Mamdani and Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy logic control system, Study of Neural networks control system, Study of Genetic Algorithm for intelligent system control.

Module 3: Analysis of Hybrid Control Systems (6 Hours)
Study and design of various hybrid intelligent techniques for intelligent system control, Application of intelligent system control on various engineering fields.

Module 4: Sensors and Actuators in Intelligent Control (7 Hours)
Comprehensive study of various segments of intelligent system control, Use of various sensors and actuators in intelligent control system.

Module 5: Application of Robots with Intelligent Control (7 Hours)
Use of Robots and various mobile robot in the field of intelligent control, Engineering application of intelligent system control in various fields.

1. To study fundamental concepts and components of Intelligent Control.

2. To Study on Digital, Fuzzy, Neural and Genetic control Algorithms.

3. To explore hybrid Control Systems.

4. To analyse Sensors and Actuators in Intelligent Control.

5. To gain knowledge on application of robots with intelligent control.

Course Outcome

1 .

At the end of the course, students will be able:

1. To explain the fundamental concepts and components of Robotics systems.
2. To explain direct & inverse kinematics of robots.
3. Identify and classify different types of sensors and actuators used in robotics applications.
4. To do control of robotics systems.
5. To deploy programming and artificial intelligence techniques for robotics systems.
