Syllabus

Module 1 :

Module 1: Introduction to Industrial Automation and Intelligent Systems (3 Hours)
Introduction to Industrial Automation, Intelligent Systems,

Module 2: Use of Eclectic, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems for Automation (9 Hours)
Use of pneumatic and electro pneumatic system for industrial automation, Use of electric drives and actuators, hydraulic and electro hydraulic system for industrial automation, Hydraulic Actuators for Industrial Automation, Pneumatic Actuators for Industrial Automation.

Module 3: Application of sensors for Automation (8 Hours)
magnetic sensors, ultrasonic sensors, infrared sensors, touch sensors, optical Sensors, gyro sensors, accelerometer, pressure sensors and Vision used for automation.

Module 4: Study of AI techniques for Automation (8 Hours)
Trajectory planning, Automation Algorithm, Use of fuzzy inference technique for industrial automation, Use of artificial neural network technique for industrial automation, Use of other AI techniques for industrial automation.

Module 5: Study and application controllers for Automation (8 Hours)
Study of various micro controllers and processors used for industrial automation, Study and application of hardware platforms required for industrial automation, Programming and flow control for automation.
