Fundamentals: 4G Networks and Composite Radio Environment, Green Wireless Networks , Opportunistic Communications: Multiuser Diversity, Opportunistic Beam forming,, Network Cooperation and Opportunistic , Opportunistic and Cooperative Cognitive Wireless Networks, Relaying Strategies in Cooperative Cellular , Mobility Management: Mobility Prediction in Pico- and Micro Cellular Networks , Cognitive Radio Resource Management : Channel Assignment Schemes, ,Dynamic Channel Allocation with SDMA, Packet-Switched SDMA/TDMA Networks, SDMA/OFDM Networks with Adaptive Data Rate, Inter cell Interference Cancellation , Cognitive and Cooperative Dynamic Radio Resource Allocation, ¬Network Deployment: Self-Organization in 4G Networks, Network Management : Distributed Network Management, Energy-efficient Wireless Networks : Energy Cost Function , Minimum Energy Routing , Maximizing Network Lifetime.

Course Objectives

  • To obtain a broad understanding of the technologies and applications for the emerging and exciting domain of wireless sensor networks,
  • To get in-depth hands-on experience in designing and developing a real operational embedded network system.
  • To design and develop foundational systems software, sensor-actuator-controller algorithms and network protocols.
