1. Open loop and Closed loop Control of DC-DC Buck converter.
2. Speed control of DC motor using single phase full-wave controlled bridge converter.
3. Single phase step down Cycloconverter.
4. Open loop and closed loop control of DC-DC Boost converter
5. Open loop and closed loop control of DC-DC Buck Boost converter
6. Study and verify the operation of Zero voltage switching converter.
7. Study and verify the operation of Zero current switching converter.
8. Single phase IGBT based PWM inverter
9. Speed control of DC motor using single phase half-wave controlled bridge converter.
10. Four Quadrant chopper DC motor drive.
11. Speed control of DC motor using three phase half-wave controlled bridge converter.
12. Speed control of DC motor using three phase full-wave controlled bridge converter.
Course Objectives
- To study simulations of open loop and closed loop control of different converters.
- To study simulations of DC Motor drive
Course Outcomes
1: An understanding of the behavior of semiconductor devices operated as power switches. <br />2: Ability to analyze and design ac-to-dc circuits. <br />3: Ability to analyze and design dc-to-dc converters. <br />4: Ability to analyze and design dc-to-ac inverters.
