Introduction / Practice Session for realizing gates by using dataflow and behavioural modelling using VHDL and Verilog HDL, Realization of Digital circuits using VHDL/Verilog HDL, Realization of Counter using VHDL /Verilog HDL, Finite State Machine for Sequence Detection, ADC-DAC Interface with FPGA/SoC, Digital Filter Structure Realization with FPGA/SoC

Course Objectives

  • Learn to use modern circuit design tools, software, and equipment to develop digital circuit in embedded systems
  • Learn coding in VHDL/Verilog, simulation and testing
  • Learn to design and implement embedded system with optimal computational complexity

Course Outcomes

CO1: Learn modern EDA Tools for Design and Simulation of Real-time Embedded System <br />CO2: Learn VHDL/Verilog code for developing basic digital circuit components <br />CO3: Learn peripheral interfacing with FPGA/SoC based embedded system <br />CO4: Design, implement, and test the Digital Filters like FIR, IIR, and Adaptive Filters <br />CO5: Lear reporting the performance analysis of the embedded systems effectively
