Syllabus

Module 1 :

1. Familiarization with TMS320C6713 processor.
2. Implementation of various transforms and their inverses: DFT, FFT, DCT.
3. Implementation of overlap-save based linear convolution in time and DFT domains
4. Write a code for generating a sine wave signal of 1kHz frequency and show it using a DSO.
5. Implementation of audio loop back project using TMS320C6713.
6. Write a code for generating an echo signal having a delay of 1s and gain degradation of 20dB.
7. Implementation of impulse response using TMS320C6713 .
8. Implementation of low pass and high pass FIR filter using windowing technique.
9. Mini Project.

Course Objective

1 .

Develop and implement fundamental DSP algorithms (e.g., filtering, convolution, FFT) using DSP processors .

2 .

Gain hands-on experience with DSP development environments, such as MATLAB, Code Composer Studio, or Simulink, for algorithm design and hardware interfacing.

3 .

Design, debug, and troubleshoot DSP-based applications, such as audio processing, biomedical signal processing, and communication systems.
