The course provides basic information on the different planar transmission lines.

The course helps to design filter using microstrip technology.

The course objective is also to understand the design of various microstrip based passive components and its applications.

After successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
a. diagnoses and solve basic microstrip circuit problems.
b. design various microstrip based lowpass, bandpass and bandstop filter.
c. design various microstrip circuit components.
