Syllabus

Module 1 :

List of Experiments:
1. To measure respiration rate of human body and check abnormalities of human respiratory system.
2. Study of phonocardiograph system.
3. Study of Non-invasive blood pressure measurement system using sphygmomanometer.
4. Study of 12 lead ECG signal using ECG simulator.
5. Real time EEG signal acquisition and study the EEG signal.
6. Real time ECG signal acquisition and study the ECG signal.
7. Study of pacemaker system using pacemaker simulator.

Course Objective

1 .

To enable Students to acquire biopotentials signals like ECG, EEG and EMG, analyse them and design instrumentation system for the same and learn different techniques on analytical instrumentation.

Course Outcome

1 .

After completion of this course the students will be:
CO1: Able to carry out research and development in the area of biomedical and analytical Instrumentation.
CO2: well versed with the NI LabVIEW and MATLAB simulation environment.
CO3: Able to acquire, simulate and analyze the bio-signals.
CO4: Able to acquire, simulate and analyze the blood pressure signals.
CO5: Able to write the experimental report.
