Syllabus
1. Study of the research article structure abstract writing, introduction to the problems and presenting the state of art and presenting the problem formulation and derivations and presentation of numerical simulation results and conclusions.
2. Study of Latex and beamer for technical writing.
3. Study of technical paper reading and identifying the limits of the contribution.
4. Study on presenting technical work by posters and slides.
Course Objectives
- The goal of this seminar and technical writing is to help PG students with writing and editing technical documents, such as papers and dissertations.
- Improve technical presentation skills and delivery.
Course Outcomes
CO1: Able to write technical reports on any research area. <br />CO2: Become well aware of making posters for presentations in conferences. <br />CO3: Able to do in-depth analysis on any research area and able to make a presentation in that area.
