Soil-Cement / Soil-lime Mix Design, Design of mix for cement treated sub-base and base, Blending of aggregates for Job mix formula in base/surface courses, Design and blending of sub-base material, Characterisation of Aggregate and Bituminous materials, Viscoelastic Characteristics of bituminous and modified binders, Design of flexible and rigid pavements, Repeated Load Testing of pavement materials
Course Objectives
- To train students with latest practices of mix design and structural design of pavements with variable material compositions so as to enable them to take up real life problems in the field.
