Strategies of gene cloning, Tools in rDNA technology, Enzymes involved in RDT ( nuclease, Ligase, polymerases), Methods of construction of rDNAs,Vectors and their types, Introduction of rDNAs into living systems, Screening of rDNA clones, Application of RDT in different fields, PCR, RFLP, DNA fingerprinting and footprinting, Gene sequencing and mapping, In vitro gene expression systems, Transgenic system, Site-specific and oligonucleotide-directed mutagenesis, Antisense and ribozyme technology, Gene therapy, Ethical and legal issues in rDNA technology.
