Syllabus
1. Designing Residential bungalow for single family use (the professional or socio-economic
background of the user family may be varied.
2. Designing any one from the Cafeteria, community market complex, recreational club, community health centre, veterinary dispensary.
Course Objectives
- To carry forward knowledge gained in the previous semesters and <br />to introduce the design requirements of a space for human habitation and <br />assimilation of architectural design principles.
- To anticipate user needs through personal experience and/or case studies <br />and/or study of vernacular architecture, and translate those into space program.
- To have basic understanding of the climatic and geographical context of the site and interpreting the information for design development
- To understand spatial components, space standards, basic building services and city specific building bye-laws pertaining to site.
