Syllabus
Study of photography: aperture, shutter, speed, light, composition, etc. Digital photography and digital printing. B/w photography and colour photography. Creative exploration. Studio Photography. Product photography.
Portraiture. History of Photography. Critical perspectives in Photography. Techniques of photography-camera and dark room. Learning to use camera and lighting for studio photography. Techniques of presentation.
Course Objectives
- To make the students aware of the evolution of photography.
- To develop sound fundamentals of the techniques and principles in photography.
Course Outcomes
1. Students become confident in the knowledge of the history, theory and techniques of photography. <br />2. Students are able to confidently apply principles and techniques of photography in their design practice.
