1. Study of instruments for monitoring convergence in mines. ( 2 Hours)
2. Study of instruments for monitoring stress in underground workings. ( 2 Hours)
3. Study of instruments for monitoring load on supports. ( 2 Hours)
4. Study of instrumentation for monitoring ground behavior around Longwall workings. ( 2 Hours)
5. Study of instruments for slope monitoring in opencast mines. ( 2 Hours)
6. Study of instruments for roof fall monitoring in mines. ( 2 Hours)
7. Study of instruments for monitoring bed separation in mines( 2 Hours)
8. Study of instruments for monitoring ground vibrations due to blasting. ( 2 Hours)
9. Study of instruments for strata behavior monitoring in thick seams. ( 2 Hours)
10. Study of instrumentation for monitoring ground behavior in metal mines ( 2 Hours)
Course Objectives
- candidates gets exposure to ground control instrumentation
- Objective 2 : <br />students will learn installation procedures, details of instruments , analysis of data to implement in the mines.
- Students will learn the application of Strata control technology with proper instrumentation

CO1: To understand details of different Instruments for monitoring ground behavior <br />CO2: Apply the instruments, with proper demonstration of procedures for installation, monitoring ground behaviour different excavations including hydroelectric projects, tunnels, etc
