Introduction, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, Source Model,Toxic Release and Dispersion Models,Fires and Explosions, Designs to Prevent Fires and Explosions, Introduction to Reliefs, Designing of Relief system, Probabilistic Risk assessment

Course Objectives

  • Process engineers are equipped with modern tools and new techniques to keep the plant safe and free from hazards.
  • To mitigate the occupational hazards at work place
  • To control the electro-static hazards associated with oil & gas transport.

Course Outcomes

1. The incumbent will be able find out the occupational hazards at work place. <br />2. The incumbent will be able to determine the electrostatic hazards in oil and gas transport. <br />2. The incumbent will be able to take appropriate decision for the selection of personal protective equipments.
