Syllabus

1. Determination of Temp. -Resistance & Temp. —Voltage characteristics of the Thermistor.
2. Determination of Temp-Resistance & Temp. —Voltage characteristics of the RTD (pt-100)
3. Determination of Temp. using Thermocouple with compensation & without compensation. Plot the graph for Actual Temp. vs % Error
4. Determination of characteristics between strain applied & the voltage output, as well as the signal conditioned voltage of a cantilever strain gauge.
5. Study the characteristics of a LVDT with respect to secondary output voltage & Signal conditioned output voltage. Calibrate the LVDT & plot the graph between displacement & % Error
6. Study the response of optical sensor by varying the distance from light source.
7. Measurement of Water level using capacitive sensor and controller using PLC.
8. Measurement of rotational speed from a distance using stroboscope and compare it with slotted optical transducer.
9. Use of PLC to perform different automation action over conveyor belt.
10. Linear displacement measurement using different optical sensors and angular displacement using capacitive sensor.
