| O-INSA is an organization involved in the overall organization of the Inter-NIT competitions in sports, cultural, technical & other activities. All the events, meets & competitions are under the guidance and supervision of this organization. |

| O-INSA tries to inculcate sportsman spirit among the students of NITs through different sports events. Inter-NIT sports meets would strengthen the bond among the students and this is one of the ways for interaction. |

| The cultural organ of O-INSA is responsible for bringing cooperation among all NITs in cultural activities. |

| Inter-NIT cultural Activity(2008-09) |

| Proposed events- classical music, classical dance, western music & dance, folk music & dance, painting & drawing, photography, antakshari etc. |
|
|
| As an initial step, it is decided to hold the inter NIT cultural program of Annual Year 2008-09 at two institutes. NIT Rourkela has volunteered to be one of the two institutes, other Institute interested in hosting cultural events are requested to contact Dean (SA) of NIT Rourkela. |
