BIOGRAPHY

He is an Assistant Professor of Consumer Psychology at NIT Rourkela. Prior to it, he worked as a faculty at Bennett University, LPU, NSIT, DTU, NIT– Bhopal and his teaching interests are Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Psychology, and Brand Management. His research interests are Subsistence Marketplace(BOP), Consumer Psychology, Digital Marketing, Neuromarketing, and Happiness and he has got his scholarly works published in international journals of repute, namely International Journal of Consumer Studies (ABDC:A, ABS:2, SSCI IF – 9.9, & Scopus Q1), Journal of Global Marketing (ABDC:B, ABS:1 & Scopus: Q2), Young Consumers (ABDC:B, ABS:1, ESCI, & Scopus: Q1), and International Journal of Public Administration (ABDC:B, ABS:2, ESCI & Scopus: Q2). As far as his academic credentials are concerned, he holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Computer Science and other in Education, and has done his MBA in Marketing from Army Institute of Management Kolkata. He has earned his Ph.D. in Consumer Psychology from FMS. He remained meritorious throughout his studies and earned various scholarships and fellowships, like national scholarship (with merit certificate) in matriculation for 2 years of XIth and XIIth, national scholarship in 12th for 3 years of Graduation, JRF for first 2 years of Ph.D. and then SRF for the remaining tenure of the Ph.D. Besides earning various fellowships in academics, he has won various accolades in sports as well. He likes playing Chess and represented his college in University chess tournament in 2002 and secured 3rd position for his college. At NIT Rourkela, he won 1st position in NIT Rourkela Chess Tournement - 2023, & 2021. He also captained the NIT Rourkela Chess team that won 2nd position in Chess in "All India Inter NIT faculty and staff Badminton, Table Tennis & Chess Tournament (Men& Women) 2023- 24" at NIT Bhopal.
