BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Mishra research bridges Next Generation Sequencing, System Biology and Cancer Biology, focusing on computational oncology approach to advance precision medicine. He earned his Ph.D. from the Supercomputing Facility for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at IIT Delhi, where he developed innovative databases and tools to decode DNA’s physicochemical and structural properties. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a pivotal role in developing India’s most affordable diagnostic kit, deployed nationally by multiple manufacturers. Dr. Mishra refined his expertise through postdoctoral training at UT Southwestern Medical Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, with a focus on systems biology and multi-omics data integration. His work dissects gene regulatory networks and identifies molecular drivers in kidney cancer and pediatric brain tumors. His research has appeared in top-tier journals, including Nucleic Acid Research (2016, 2021), European Urology (2021), The Journal of Clinical Investigation (2024), and PNAS (2024). As a dedicated mentor and educator, he is passionate about teaching and nurturing future scientists.
