BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Narayan Sethi is Professor of Economics and currently Head of the Department (HoD), Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, Odisha, India. His area of research includes Macro and Open Economy, Development Economics, Monetary Economics, and Energy and Environment. He received his PhD from School of Economics, University of Hyderabad in 2009 in area of Macroeconomics and also have completed M.A. in Economics and M.Phil. from same university. He has done Post Doctorate from AMDISA - Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia, Hyderabad. He has more than 14 years of both teaching and research experience. He has published number of papers indexed in SSCI, SCI, SCI(E), SCOPUS and Web of Science. Prof. Sethi has also worked as Principal Investigator for several research projects sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and AMIDSA. Prof. Sethi serves Associate Editor of Heliyon Journal of Science Direct, Journal of SN Business & Economics by Springer Nature and Asian Economic Letters by Asia-Pacific Applied Economics Association and Editorial Board Member of Journal of Public Affairs by WILEY.
