BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Arnab Ghosh currently is working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Rourkela and associated with Centre of Excellence (CoE) on Renewable Energy Systems. He has been actively involved in research on different control and power electronic converter design for renewable power generations. He is an IEEE Senior Member and Chartered Engineer. Currently, he is associated with Four esteemed projects such as (1) Bilateral International Research Project of Indo-United Kingdom Joint project (UKIERI 2019) collaborated with Northumbria University, Newcastle, United Kingdom, (2) Indo-Sri Lanka Joint Research Programme collaborated with University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, (3) Impacting Research Innovation and Technology 2019 (IMPRINT-IIC), (4) Science for Equity Empowerment and Development (SEED), DST. He was received “Young Scientist & Technologist” award form DST, Govt. of India. Recently, he has received ‘IEI Young Engineers Award 2022-23’ in the Electrical Engineering discipline. He is author of more than Eighty (80) research publications in international journals and conferences of repute. His work has been accepted by IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Applications, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Transaction on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, ISA Transactions, Journal of Energy Storage etc. His research interest includes the power management in hybrid microgrid, design of charging station for EVs, control of microgrid, switch-mode power converters, nonlinear dynamics of switching converters etc. Dr. Ghosh is also supervising UG, PG, and PhD students in the domain of design of power electronics converters for renewable applications and controls for Smartgrid and Hybrid Micrigrid.
