Course Objectives
- The basic aim is to perform practical studies on various types of fluid flow systems and determine or estimate various characteristic parameters associated them
Course Outcomes
1. characterize fluid flow pattern and study energy conservation in fluid flow.
2. estimate the friction and measure the frictional losses in fluid flow through closed conduits, pipe fittings, porous media.
3. calibrate Rotameter and determine discharge coefficient of venturimeter and orifice meter.
4. predict the performance of various pumps and determine drag coefficient of object moving in a fluid.
