Syllabus
1. Introduction to computer programming via few numerical techniques.
2. Basic unsupervised and supervised artificial neural networks and program implementation for classification ®ression
3. Fuzzy inference system concept and writing programs for fuzzification using various membership functions
4. Non-conventional optimization using genetic algorithms and simulated annealing
Course Objectives
- To understand the programming concepts used in neural network and fuzzy logic systems
- To acquaint with the toolboxes and openCV
Course Outcomes
CO1: To acquaint with the soft computing concepts in comparison with hard computing programs <br />CO2: To apply the neural network programs for classification and regression <br />CO3: To know the fuzzy logic concepts computationally using memberships and rules <br />CO4: To adopt the toolboxes for development of optimization modules. <br />CO5: To develop the programming skills for generalized applications.
