Syllabus
PID Control with Derivative Filtering and Integral Anti-windup for a DC Servo Controlling a process using dSPACE / Simulink and LABVIEW To study and validate the controller type for a temperature control system To study on the interface of PLC with PC for data acquisition applications Experimentation of Control loops for Inverted Pendulum. To obtain Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS) model through System Identification To write a relay ladder logic program to control a Single Conveyor belt system a Washing Machine System, a Traffic Signal System and an Elevator using PLC
Course Objectives
- To familiarize with LABVIEW, dSPACE for control experiments
- To design and implement controllers for TRMS, Mag Lev system and Inverted Pendulum
- To learn about ladder diagrams for employing PLC for executiing a control task
