1. Concept of determinate and indeterminate structures, determination of degree of indeterminacy in plane frame and continuous structures,
2. Deflection of beams by Moment-Area method
3. Deflection of beams and trusses by Energy method,
4. Analysis of continuous beams by Theorem of Three moments,
5. Analysis of beams and frames by Slope Deflection method,
6. Analysis of beams and frames by Moment Distribution method and
7. Analysis of beams and frames by Kani’s method,
8. Rolling loads and influence line diagrams for simply supported beams,
9. influence line for forces in members of Pratt and Warren trusses with parallel top and bottom chords ,
10. Analysis of three-hinged and two-hinged arches, influence line for horizontal thrust, bending moment, normal thrust and radial shear for arches
