Module I Different methods of estimation and terminologies
Module II Specification: General specification, Details specification for different building
items structural works, road works. Analysis of Rate: Analysis of rates for Earth
work, Cement concrete, RCC, Brick work, plastering, etc.
Seminar on market survey of building materials, fittings, and fixtures
Module IV Estimating a project cost: Plinth area method, CBRI method
Module V Estimating a project cost: Detailed estimate of quantities
Course Objectives
- To understand the process to prepare the specification for a building and <br />to estimate the cost involved in the construction
Course Outcomes
Ability to prepare estimates for a building. <br />Ability to prepare detailed specifications for various items involved in a building project. <br />Ability to provide rough and detailed costing for a building.
