FORTRAN PROGRAMMING & FAMILIARITY WITH LINUX PLATFORM
How to use Linux platform to create a file and folder etc. How to save the file, copy the file and move from one place to another etc...Basics of Fortran Programming, Application to different types of problems.
Course Objectives
- Getting the students familiar with Linux platform and Fortran Programming
Course Outcomes
Students would be familiar with LINUX platform for working and learn FORTRAN programming skills so that they can understand the codes written in numerical weather prediction models.
