Signal Processing in Digital Control, Models of Digital Control Devices and Systems, z Transform. z Plane Analysis of Discrete-Time Systems Stability of discrete systems: location of poles, Jury's stability criterion, stability analysis through bilinear transforms, state-space description, solution of state-space, Lyapunov stability analysis Design of Digital Controller: Pole Placement and observer design, Linear Quadratic Optimal Control, Polynomial equation approach.
Course Objectives
- To design, analysis, and control the dynamical systems in discrete domain
Course Outcomes
1. Gain familiarity with sample theory, z-transform, and other analysis tools to decide system stability in a discrete domain <br />2. Learn how to design digital control systems
