An IoT-enabled computer vision aided multimode temperature-based color analysis device configured to simultaneously provide the test sample's color, spectral, and temperature information. The mentioned device will supply the spectral information in the visible wavelength ranges ranging from 380 to 730 nm. The said device can be operated wirelessly over the Internet of Things (IoT), even when it is placed within a controlled environment. The said apparatus (100) is configured to host a Raspberry Pi (701) as a computing platform to control the system operations, a CMOS camera (703) to acquire the image, a temperature sensor (706) to acquire temperature information, a power supply unit (704) to fulfill the power requirements of the system and a 7-inch display unit (702); a hollow-shaped assembly (105) that acts as a spacer in between the image acquisition unit and the sensor; a sample tray to keep the test sample and a base at the bottom. The said device can function in two different modes. The device's output is saved in the internal memory and displayed in the display unit (702).
