Course Objective
| 1 . |
To develop an understanding of the fundamentals of business research, including its meaning, importance, types, applications, emerging trends, scientific method, and research process. |
| 2 . |
To familiarize students with research approaches and designs, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, cross-sectional, longitudinal, and experimental designs. |
| 3 . |
To develop an understanding of measurement and scaling techniques, including levels of measurement, rating and ranking scales, validity, and reliability. |
| 4 . |
To equip students with knowledge of sampling methods and sample size determination, along with an understanding of sampling and non-sampling errors and non-response issues.
|
| 5 . |
To develop competency in data preparation, presentation, and descriptive analysis, including questionnaire construction, probability distributions, sampling distributions, and assessment of measurement quality. |
| 6 . |
To develop skills in statistical analysis and interpretation of research data using bivariate, inferential, and multivariate techniques and in preparing research reports. |
Course Outcome
