Course Objectives
- To introduce the concept of social change-meaning, nature, forms, factors, theories etc.
- To explore and evaluate the consequences social change in India
- To understand the various facets of social change in India
Course Outcomes
1. develop better understanding of social change in India
2. understand the major theories of social change.
3. assess the consequences of Social change in India and be able to think of strategies to minimize negative consequences of Social change.
