Areas of Interest
Preceramic Polymer Derived Hybrids, Nanostructured Anodes for Li-ion Batteries, Graphene Composites, - I mostly work on the processing-microstructure-property relationship in advanced materials. The ability to manipulate materials processing methods to achieve a targeted morphology/microstructure in dense and porous materials is the my key strength of a materials scientist. With this philosophy, we have been able to design materials for high energy density ultracapacitors, stable anodes for Li ion batteries, advanced refractories, and ultrastrong graphene based composites.
