Syllabus

Module 1 :

1. To determine elastic coefficients of materials
2. To determine the wavelength of LASER beam
3. To determine different liquid-solid contact angle
4. To determine the Kerr constant of a liquid (Nitro Benzene)
5. To measure the beam divergence and spot size of the given LASER ligh.
6. To find the spacing of etalon and verification of magnetic moment-constant
7. To obtain the ‘g’ factor.
8. To determine Hall coefficient and carrier concentration of material
9. To demonstrate the concept of quantization of energy levels according to Bohr atomic model
10. To determine velocity of ultrasonic vibration in different media
11. To determine the Planck’s constant, ‘h’
12. To find the ionization potential of mercury using gas filled diode
