Introduction to isolation of natural organic molecules and discussion of separation and purification techniques (3 hours), Caffeine from Tea (6 hours), Lycopene from Tomatoes (6 hours), Piperine from pepper (6 hours), Clove oil by distillation (6 hours), eucalyptus oil from eucalyptus leaves (6 hours). |
Course Objective

To have training and practical experience of isolation of organic molecules from natural resources and To have idea of the importance of organic molecules in natural resources. |

To get hand-on experience of separation and purification techniques, which will be useful in future research and industrial job. |
