Qualitative analysis of acid and Basic radicals present in inorganic salts Dry test: flame test, dry test tube heating. Wet test-1: Sodium carbonate extract preparation for the detection of anions. For example: Halides (Cl-, Br-, F-, I-), Nitrite, Nitrate, Sulfate, Sulfite, Phosphate, Arsanate.

Students will have knowledge on how to analyze ions present in various inorganic salts. |

Students will have hands-on practice on handling of inorganic salts with acid and basic medium and also to see their color changes during the reactions |
