1. Verification of Newton's law of cooling.
2. Determination of specific heat of a given liquid by Newton's law of cooling.
3. Determination of Stefan's constant.
4. Measurement of heating efficiency of an electric kettle.
5. Measurement of thermal conductivity of Copper using the Searle's bar method.
6. Determination of mechanical equivalent of heat by Callender & Barne's method.
7. Study the variation of thermo e.m.f. with temperature of a thermocouple.
8. Determination of Heat capacity of a given solid.
9. Study the Stefan’s law of radiation.

At the end of the course, students will be able to:
CO1: Perform effectively experiments on the measurement of specific heat of solid and liquid.

CO2: Perform effectively experiment on the measurement coefficient of thermal conductivity of solid.

CO3: Verify Newton's law of cooling.

CO4: Determine the heating efficiency as well as the mechanical equivalent of heat.

CO5: Measure the temperature using a thermocouple.
