Genome organization-prokaryotic and eukaryotic genomes, Genome mapping, assembly, and comparative genomics, DNA sequencing technologies- Sanger, Next-Generation Sequencing, Genome Annotation and analysis |

Functional genomics-transcriptomics, gene expression profiling, Microarray, RNA-seq, Applications in personalized medicine, genome editing, agriculture, Ethical, legal, and social issues in genomics |
| Module 3 : |
Structural and functional proteome, proteomics workflow, sample preparation for proteomics, insoluble proteomics, defining proteomics experiments, minimizing dynamic range, Protein separation-1D/2D gel electrophoresis, Isoelectric focusing, chromatography techniques |

Protein identification and Quantification-Mass spectrometry, MALDI-TOF, ESI-MS/MS, Sequence analysis, Protein-protein interactions for target identification, Clinical and applied proteomics, biomarker discovery, disease proteomics |
