Syllabus
| Module 1 : |
Semimicro qualitative analysis of cations, Step by step Group-test analysis (anions are excluded) and the identification of cations in a given sample. Group 1-5 cations confirmatory test in unknown sample. Identification and Removal of interfering ions like phosphate. Treatment of Insoluble salts or residue for analysis. Synthesis of inorganic / organometallic compounds . Characterization and property measurements of inorganic compounds. Exposure to various spectroscopic characterization techniques. |
