Complexes of Olefins, acetylenes and related unsaturated molecules, Oxidative addition and reductive elimination reactions, Metallocenes, preparation, properties and structures and their derivatives, Boranes , Carboranes and Metalloboranes, Bonding and properties, Examples, Metal Cluster compounds: Dinuclear, trinuclear, polynuclear clusters, Structure and application, Catalytic properties of mononuclear compounds, in catalysis, Alkene hydrogenation, Hydroformylation, Polymerization etc.,, Application of organometallic compounds in Organic synthesis, Characterization methods of organometallic Compounds, Metal ligand multiple bonds: carbenes, carbynes, Basic aspects of bioorganometallic chemistry, Discussions on recent research topic on organometallic chemistry. |
