Chromatography: Adsorption chromatography, Partition chromatography, Paper chromatography, Thin-layer chromatography, column chromatography, gas-liquid chromatography, ion-exchange chromatography.

To learn the basic principles of techniques used for purification and characterizations of organic compounds. |

To learn how to make structural assignments and characterization of organic compounds using various spectroscopic technologies, especially Mass, UV-Vis, IR, and 1H-NMR techniques |

CO 1: It provides the knowledge of different separation method of organic compounds including chromatography, distillation, sublimation, crystallisation and filtration techniques.
