Micro-electric Discharge machining: Principles of Micro-EDM, Research and development, Micro-EDM system development, influence of pulse characteristics, fabrication of high aspect ratio holes, heat affected zone in micro-EDM, Modelling of single spark in micro-EDM, ignition phase in micro-EDM, heating phase in micro-EDM, Removal phase in micro-EDM
3. Laser micro-machining techniques: Lasers used for micro-machining, Laser beam characteristics, Laser material interaction, Laser Micro-machining System, Nano-second pulse micro-machining, pieco-second pulse micro-machining, Femtosecond pulse micro-machining
